- Special Inquiry Fund and Traffic Management Fund, which were not available before.
- Timely promotions for police personnel to boost motivation.
He urged Superintendents of Police (SPs) to appoint Station House Officers (SHOs) in every police station, ensuring efficient policing at the district level.

As Sikkim marks 50 years of statehood, CM Tamang stressed that police will play a crucial role in maintaining discipline and security during celebrations.
Reviving Sports in Sikkim Police
The Chief Minister announced a new initiative to revive sports culture in the police force, specifically forming a state-level football team.
- Each player will receive ₹5 lakh for diet and nutrition.
- The team will compete in professional tournaments instead of local matches.
- A technical team will be formed for support.
