Udaipur (Zinc City) – The Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2026 concluded on a spectacular note, marking the 10th anniversary of this iconic event. Conceptualised and presented by Seher, in association with Hindustan Zinc, and supported by the Government of Rajasthan and the Department of Tourism, the festival brought together Indian and international artists, showcasing a rich blend of musical traditions and global influences.
Over its three-day journey, the festival highlighted cultural exchange, musical diversity, and the transformative power of music, reinforcing Udaipur’s position as a leading hub for global music.
Morning Melodies at Manjhi Ghat
The festival’s final day began at Manjhi Ghat (Ambrai Ghat) at 9:00 am, offering audiences a serene start with Hindustani classical music by Siddharth Belmannu. Following this, Spain’s From Father to Son: Flamenco performed, bringing generational flamenco traditions to life on the ghat.
Afternoon Rhythms at Fateh Sagar
The afternoon session at the Fateh Sagar embankment began at 3:30 pm with Poland’s Wolosi, whose energetic folk music interpretations captivated the audience. The session concluded with a performance by Indian Ocean, pioneers of Indian fusion rock, blending traditional and contemporary sounds.
Evening Extravaganza at Gandhi Grounds
The final evening at Gandhi Grounds began with Spain’s Flamenco Dream, blending Spanish jazz and pop. Chile’s Calle Mambo followed, enchanting attendees with vibrant Latin rhythms. The festival concluded with Amit Trivedi, whose dynamic performance ensured audience participation, delivering a grand finale to the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2026.
