The Open Road Wanderers Motorcycle Club successfully concluded its Annual Monsoon Ride 2025, emphasizing social responsibility, a drug-free lifestyle, and support for youth sports development.
Two-Day Ride Spreads Drug-Free Awareness
The two-day event covered key towns across Sikkim, including Singtam, Mamring, Namchi, Damthang, and Rukumtar, delivering a strong message against drug and alcohol abuse.
Riders promoted the slogan:
“Some do drugs, others pour bottles, we solve our problems with wide open throttle.”
The campaign encouraged Sikkim’s youth to adopt healthy lifestyles and pursue positive activities instead of substance use.
Collaboration and Community Support
The ride was organised in partnership with Brotherhood Bulleters and Crusaders Motorcycle Clubs, with logistical support from the Singtam Nagar Panchayat and Singtam Police.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Suresh Kumar Tamang, President of Singtam Nagar Panchayat, and Ujjwal Pandey, Special Executive Magistrate. Police and civil defence officials also joined to reinforce the #SayNoToDrugs campaign.
